IN THE KNOW
What I’ve Got Going On
I’m so fortunate to have an incredible job that I love which both challenges and fulfills me. Yet, none of what I do would be as meaningful to me without an audience to share it with. SILENCED
At the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival!
When depression is taboo, how can we talk about it? When we laugh to cover our
pain, how long can we wear joy as a mask? When will we stop hiding in silence?
This show is a personal account of the writer and actress Morgan Nadeau’s life. It
is an honest and courageous show that talks about depression in a real way with
the use of clown and humour.
The show shows uses story telling, and recordings to share the artist’s ups and
downs of depression in her life. It is a chronological retelling and reenactment of
her life. Morgan uses clown and humour to bring extra dimension to the show.
Show contains:
talk of suicide, nudity, course language. Viewer discretion is
advised
